- We’ve been founders before and in many ways we’re founders again only instead of writing code, we write checks. This means we’re building BTV on a multi-decade horizon, we work for ourselves and our success is tied directly to the success of the founders we back. We don’t take for granted the opportunity to partner alongside them. As such, we owe it to tomorrow’s founders to bring the deepest levels of empathy, clarity and rigor to what we hope will be the journey of a lifetime. That means being the first call through the emotionally jagged phases of building and hustling for the things that matter — sparring on product, landing customers, selling talent or just being a consistent sounding board for the things founders cannot share with anyone else.
