Investment approach

Thesis
The creation of ‘national champions’ in advanced manufacturing areas such as electronics, critical minerals, materials will offer strong compounding opportunities with a very attractive risk-return profile which we believe will continue in the foreseeable future. Certain sub-sectors within manufacturing will continue to do exceptionally well. High-tech electronics manufacturing, critical minerals, recycling, materials, etc. will continue to see strong growth in the foreseeable future. Regulatory tailwinds, ‘Make-in-India’ program, large domestic market, and focus on supply chain diversification are accelerating the growth in this sector. AI, cybersecurity, health-tech, semiconductors, space-tech, robotics technology entrepreneurs have cracked the code for building fast growing businesses from India for India and the world. Technology businesses with strong use cases will continue to be a focus for us. India’s technology talent pool and problem-solving thought process of entrepreneurs will be instrumental in building large businesses. We see opportunities emerging in multiple technology domains such as AI, cybersecurity, health-tech, semiconductors, space-tech, robotics, IoT, to name a few. Fashion, wellness, travel, consumer electronics and beauty as India is expected to be the 3rd largest global consumer market by 2030. Consumer is a strong opportunity with rising income levels in the country.Source (opens in a new tab)
