The proliferation of DeFi primitives — including stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and on‑chain financial infrastructure — is the most important experiment in democratizing capital access and expanding financial empowerment in the modern era. In parallel, these primitives are becoming the upgrade layer for institutional finance — shrinking settlement time, cutting counterparty and reconciliation friction, and automating compliance, governance, and custody to make global markets faster, safer, and cheaper to run.
