GateCap Ventures believes that we have entered the early stages of a technology revolution in which hundreds of trillions of dollars of traditional assets will become natively digital. This period of innovation will have far reaching impacts on the financial system that will drastically alter asset issuance, custody, exchange and ownership. Additionally, this next digitization wave will have disruptive effects, such as reductions in costs and friction, and increases in speed, productivity and liquidity. Asset digitization will also meaningfully impact the cost of capital and the efficiency of markets.
