About

We are Canada’s leading early-stage VC firm dedicated to serving entrepreneurs and nurturing the communities in which they thrive.

Thesis: We support game-changing Canadian founders from day one, helping them scale themselves as they scale their businesses.Source (opens in a new tab)
Leads rounds: Sometimes
Lead policy: We love co-investing with like-minded partners and have done so on many occasions. We’re very open to working with other investors who share our values.
Takes board seats: Sometimes
Board policy: We do, but not always. We love to be involved as much as we can. Being on the board is a way for us to bring significant value to our companies.
Ownership target: We work hard with other investors to have terms that make sense for founders in the long run. That means we need to be flexible on our ownership but want to have a large enough stake in your company to make sure you feel we are fully committed to each other.
Reserves policy: We are currently focused on supporting our existing investee companies and making follow-on investments into those companies.
Eligibility: While our focus is primarily on Canadian entrepreneurs, we occasionally partner with international founders whose mission align with our investment thesis.
Investing status notes: We are currently focused on supporting our existing investee companies and making follow-on investments into those companies.
